Easing down...

So today was a nice little 5.5 miler in the beautiful Sydney sunshine this morning. It's been such a beautiful day today, and makes me realise why I came out here to live. It was such a nice thing to be runninig in the sun today. I was goign to do a 7 miler after the 12 yesterday, but to be honest, the first 1.5 miles of the route I normally do is uphill and I really didnt need to do anymore uphills. So to save my calfs, I just did the 5.5 miles at a very steady pace. I didnt even bother to time it, as I also did some intervals in the last mile or so. That makes 35 miles for the week in first week of taper, bringing down to 30 next week, before marathon week. Really looking forward to it now!
